Job Description: |
Our client is searching for an experienced website graphic designer with at least 3 years working experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.
Key tasks will revolve around print design, and web site application and design. The role holder will have: • BFA or bachelors degree in a creative discipline. • Print design experience. • Impeccable typography skills and a good knowledge of printing specifications and techniques. • Website and application design experience with a solid background in developing graphical user interfaces, micro sites, ad banners, and newsletters. • An intimate knowledge of the Adobe family of products including Photoshop, Image Ready, Illustrator, In design and Acrobat. • A strong working knowledge of the Macromedia family of products: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe In-Design, and the Macromedia suite including Flash, Fireworks and Dreamweaver. • The ability to work under pressure, both individually, and as part of a larger team. • A passion to design for a strong gaming brand. Desirable skills and experience in the following areas: Illustration Internet Banner Ad Design HTML and CSS Flash animation Action scripting knowledge would be a plus An on-line portfolio of recent work demonstrating use of the both skills is mandatory.
