As a result of our expansion of our Igaming client base we are looking for a Financial Planning Analyst to work for a prestigious online gaming company based on the beautiful island of Malta.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong commercial skills looking to get experience of an online business by demonstrating real business value by the analytics they provide. The Senior Manager will have overall responsibility for delivery of senior management dashboards, and for maximising investments in, and enjoyment of, Business Intelligence tools. They will run a professional delivery service for senior management reporting, and will also play a significant role in providing useful insight and analysis to the management of the International business. THE RESPONSIBILITIES. • Manage the creation, enhancement and delivery of daily, weekly and monthly reporting • To support the FD in driving a single definition of KPIs and metrics across revenue and marketing • Work closely with the core financial reporting team to bring consistency of reporting across these teams • To introduce core operational metrics management into the BI team in Malta • To support the FD in bringing increased understanding and use of the analytics to the management of the business • Manage a small team to provide standard and ad hoc analysis • Manage team to ensure regulatory reporting requirements are satisfied. • Regular review of existing reporting to ensure appropriate and up-to-date WORKING RELATIONSHIPS. • The International FD, and his peers • 1 direct report • The core finance team in Malta and, to a lesser extent, in London • All members of BI program team in London • Key contacts in relevant departments at exec level and below to ensure that information needs are being planned for and met. • Key internal customers across the business, including Finance, Customer Insight, and operations heads (for process info/KPIs). • Data-warehouse team to plan enhancements in BI tools and datawarehouse. THE MUST HAVES. • 2-5 years post qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA professional accountant • Strong commercial acumen, as well as an understanding of key business drivers and how to manage against them • Analytical experience in information intensive/fast moving business. Proven ability to strip out the key elements from high volumes of data to provide clear information to support decision making. • Good understanding of KPIs and dashboards. Highly numerate and comfortable with statistics, able to present complex information clearly. • Good working experience with data analytical tools, e.g. ProClarity or Business Objects • Good working experience managing an MI delivery team, preferably in a predominantly online company.
