Job Description:

This department of a multi national technology company is responsible for indirect sales of software with- and through partners. It is one of the fastest growing components within EMEA. As a Channel Sales Representative in you manage a set of partners together with the local A&C organization of your home country. These partners can be Independent software Vendors (ISV), System Integrators (SI) and Value Added Resellers (VAR), most of which transact through our distributors (VAD). Your objective is to generate and increase the transactional business with your partners. The Channel Sales Representative reports to the Channel Sales manager in Malaga. The main responsibility of this role is the indirect revenue target with your partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Working together with partners on their sales pipeline and –creation and workshops. Conversion of Partner pipeline into opportunities. Pro-active opportunity management together with your partners and the local A&C teams. Must be capable of handling sales/partner objections (technical and program). Responsible for accurate delivery of your partner forecast. Close cooperation with Sales units. Understand the core-business of your partners; their target groups, products, competitive positioning and services. Identify strengths & weaknesses and define a common market strategy and business plan together with the local A&C and Sales teams. Execution of your plans & actions as well as the monitoring of them, to reach the defined goals. Stimulation of your partners in the resale of licenses. Reporting and managing out-of-line situations. Adoption and implementation of new products with your partners. Act as first point of contact for your partners. Supporting partners on the subject of marketing and sales. Coordination of all activities which support the partner in transactional business. Observation of adherence to Terms & Conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

University BA/BSC level education. Has experience in sales and/or marketing IT surroundings. Commercially and target driven personality, preferably with up to 2 years commercial (sales-) experience, in an IT environment. Ability to build and maintain effective business relationships, preferably in a channel environment. Self motivated to continuously expand personal professional knowledge. Ability to work in a high pressure, fast moving and challenging environment. Professional with good organizational- and planning skills. A self starter, determined, flexible and results driven. Thrives working in complex (virtual) teams. Fluency in French and English languages, both written and verbal. Can develop and maintain relations at Executive level. Has experience in writing and executing business plans.
