A bi lingual senior sales person is sought by this exciting new international Bookstore Coffee Lounge in Sotogrande, due to open in October.
This responsible position will involve the day to day running of the bookshop, which will provide both Spanish and mainly English residents with the opportunity to obtain the widest range of books through both current stock and an easy ordering facility. My client feels that someone with a literary interest, or related retail experience would be particularly suitable, however key attributes that you must possess will include the highest levels of professionalism, an excellent first impression, a strong work ethic, a great attention to detail, excellent sales skills and a helpful, flexible approach. A suitable Applicant will be expected to be in communication with Spanish book distributers, to have some administrative and computer abilities and able to direct assistant staff. Any previous experience would be an advantage. Please note that you must speak fluent Spanish as you will be in day to day contact with Spanish customers, suppliers, distributions companies etc. An exciting career path which could lead to a managerial position awaits the successful candidate interviews to be held in Sotogrande. The client will offer a salary package commensurate with experience, hours of business are likely to be 10am-7pm Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on a Rota basis |
