This niche web based company is currently looking for a project manager. As the business outsources their development work, this will make the project manager their first purely "I.T" employee with a high-level technical background. In this role, the company will rely on the project manager to:
• Take the role of a traditional product manager and assist management in evaluating possible new app and website features and maintain the company product roadmap • Develop specifications for new features for mobile apps and website • Liaise with out-sourced developers regarding development of new features and take a lead role in managing this vendor relationship. • Monitor the performance of the out-sourced programming team to ensure projects stay on schedule and conform to specifications • Test new features for quality and stability • Report bugs and ensure bug fixes are properly implemented by the development team • Monitor the performance of the web servers and serve as the primary technical contact with the hosting service Qualifications: The qualifications for this position include: Required: • Previous project management experience, particularly in a web environment • Training and experience as a computer programmer, particularly in a Microsoft .NET environment. • Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript and other web technologies • Familiarity with smart phone use and app development • Fluency in English Preferred: • Experience in website or software testing and quality control An excellent salary and full contract will be provided. |
