Job Description:

A leading global telecom consulting practice specialising in telecommunications, powered by top industry and consulting professionals who, acting as trusted advisors, create competitive advantage for our customers and our business.

We are currently seeking to recruit senior Security consultants into our Dublin based practice to:

– Develop key Security insights to support regional account management teams and Engagement Practices

– Engage with customers on Security policy and key challenges, and translate into broad opportunities for Security Consulting

– Identify and build Security opportunities in operational, organizational and technological issues with our customers

– Lead and participate in Security sales support and delivery

– Assist customers with both identifying and meeting their Regulatory requirements

– Support the wider organisation in Security engagements

Security Consultants work with leading global telecom operators and service providers to identify opportunities, analyse options, and implement recommended approaches. Currently, we are recruiting Security consultants who have expertise in engaging with customers on a pre-sales level and also in delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

Analyse customer’s security requirements and evolving trends. Through a collaborative approach, take the customer from their current as-is situation to their wanted position.
Lead and participate in project delivery and participate in Core 3 teams
Take part in and lead Security Audits and Security hardening deliveries
Assist in Security business development, lead generation, customer presentations and follow-up of any Sales Support activity and understand the concept of Baseline versus Enhanced Security.
Assist customers with development of Security policy, building Security compliance and adherence to European Privacy laws
Assist Regional accounts and Engagement practices in customer workshops regarding mobile payments and user security
A High degree of flexibility for international travel is required with typical assignment lengths from 4-8 weeks but varies dependent on project size and scope

Key Competencies

Ability to assess the customer’s existing security environment and to identify potential sales leads and sell follow-on services and systems
Understanding of key drivers in the Security ICT environment and clear vision of what determines a successful solution for the customer
Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work in, and lead, teams.
Good technical understanding of customer nodes and networks e.g. IMS, OSS, BSS, EPC/LTE, Cloud, SMART meters/grid etc. and firewalls, intrusion detection systems, routers etc.
Practical knowledge of Unix/Linux/IP/Windows. Familiarity with vulnerability assessment software e.g. Nessus or Metasploit
Strong planning, organizational, scheduling and problem solving skills
External certifications an advantage e.g. CISSP, ISO27001, SANS, BCI, IP Network Security (e.g. CCISP)
Third level qualification in Electronic/Electrical/Computer Engineering or Science
